And if anybody might know of an app or a hack that would satisfy my wants, it would be much appreciated. So having said all that, and outside any recommendations, what writing app, if any, do you like using? Despite my wants, Jotterpad has been the most reliable and pleasant to use, and I greatly recommend it (if a lot of people here don't already use it, and I assume many probably do). There was also a ( ) app, but it is gaudy and girly and plays stupid noises on startup. Also there is no undo button, and the developer is not very active. Customizable FocusWriter is easy to customize with themes or similar features. Simple Notepad has a locking feature and you can add pictures into a document, but not in the background. FocusWriter is a fullscreen, distraction-free word processor designed to immerse you as much as possible in your work. It's wonderful and stable and has a really great interface, but alas, it does not have features like this.

My question is: is there ANYTHING on Android that is similar? So far, my main Android writing app has been Jotterpad. When you open it, the program takes up your entire desktop so that its interface is the only thing you see. When I'm working on a particular story, it pretty much serves as a mood board, putting me in the world and mood of my story. Mainly because it's incredibly customize-able, with your own background images and font choices. Now here's the question: on my computer I've come to really love using Focus Writer. And if I'm writing something rather private, the right app can lock it/encrypt it. Just like moving the mouse pointer to the top displays the available. I can write like normal, and instantly transcribe my stuff, and it saves on physical space. Regardless of the profession you are in, there are broadly two things that define. I've come to quite like it with a stylus and a handwriting app. The full-screen mode makes it great for writing. There’s no tabs, navigation buttons you can’t even see your computer’s clock. Dropping in here to say hi and to start some discussion about writing on ye old phone. 1 FocusWriter has a very straightforward, distraction-free user interface where all you see is a blank white paper.
